We have always enjoyed and continue to enjoy playing our Society Outings at Donabate Golf Club. The Course has always been in excellent condition. The staff and members are always friendly and welcoming and we enjoy every outing in Donabate.

Clontarf Castle Golf Society
On our Society website we have a forum for our members to give feedback on our outings. The feedback was as follows for Donabate Golf Club.... Great Course, Great Day, Great Set Up. Everybody enjoyed their meal following their golf and enjoyed being met by the Welcoming Committee on the day and enjoyed playing with Captain Pat McNeil on the day. Great day all round.

We always enjoy our outings to Donabate Golf Club. The 27 Holes gives great choice. The courtesy and athmosphere is always great at the club and there is always a willingness to help. The facilities are excellent. We have also always enjoyed the courtesy and service of the catering services during our visits.

We had a great day in Donabate Golf Club for our Society Outing. There was a member from their Welcoming Committee assigned to us to look after our society and that was great, it kept everything moving smoothly. The club has a great set up and is well organised. The staff in the Pro Shop and the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Greens were in great condition.

I Joined Donabate Golf Club this year 2011 and have been made very welcome and find everybody very friendly and the club very sociable and pleasant. I like the variety of competitions available to ladies. We can play on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursday mixed, Friday ladies, sat and Sunday competitions. Lovely parklands course with lovely mature trees.

I joined Donabate Golf Club this year 2011. The members have been very welcoming and encouraging and I have have settled in very well. The course is lovely. Great facilities in the clubhouse, great locker rooms and showers. Great opportunities for playing golf, Monday competition, Tuesday ladies competition, Thursday mixed, Friday ladies 9 hole, Saturday and Sunday ladies competitions.

I rejoined Donabate Golf Club this year 2011. The friendliness of the members is exceptional, you always meet someone you know there, it's that kind of place. I always enjoy playing the course. The Clubhouse is state of the art and second to none and the facilities are great. My 4 children have been members of the club, my son Ronan Godkin was the Junior of the Year some years ago. There is a great Junior Club there with fantastic support from the members who run it, which I am sure is why it is so successful. I have found Robert & Michael two of the staff members exceptionally friendly and helpful and always welcoming. You will meet them in the bar or check in when you are there.
